Washington MIG CO2 wire is a copper coated, manganese and silicon alloyed solid wire. It gives stable arc, smooth feeding, uniform copper coating and minimum spatter under optimum welding conditions. The wire has a carefully controlled wire chemistry and a unique surface technology, providing superior weld metal quality at high wire feed speeds and at high welding currents. It is used in general construction, automotive, ship building and pressure vessel fabrication. Normally recommended with CO2 shielding, can be used with Ar-CO2 mixtures also.
